★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best "chai kuih" I have ever tasted before. The "skin" is soft and delicious, not too thick or thin, the filling is delicious (I have tried mangkuang/sengkuang, yam, and pickled vegetable/梅菜), and the skin-thickness to filling ratio is perfect. On the down side, the chilli sauce is so-so.
On top of that, it is very interesting to watch how the sellers make the chai kuih!
There is usually a long wait. It's recommended to go there early in the morning to put down your order, get your breakfast nearby at Apollo, then return to collect your order, and even then you may still need to wait, especially if you order a few of each flavours. Just remember to pick up your order after your breakfast!
If you are not picky about the flavour, and it isn't big order, then it should be pretty quick.
