★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Now the pau which can be found ubiquitously in JB is available here. We had dry-fried HockChiew Mee and rice-wine meesua and walked away fully satisfied. The stall is located at the rear end of the shop. Mainly patronized by locals, away from the tourists’ sight. Had Mister Coffee to be on the safe side.
Second visit on 3rd Oct 2030, I ordered a glass of Mister Coffee. Not a good experience. When I approached her, the young lady boss was visibly annoyed; ‘what Mister Coffee’?, as though she hadn’t ever heard this name. I had to walk to the wall to point at the poster! She was then in the midst of surfing on her mobile, and so I had interrupted her. So much for the service!
