★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food quality here were above my expectations. The ulam salad were simply genius dish that perfectly diffuse the western-Malay cuisine. Great ambience and cozy environment. Just the waiting a bit long but considering the quality of the dishes they prepared is acceptable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my 10000th coming to this place. The santai feeling here never gets old. Food is great as well padan dgn harga overall 4.8/5. Yang nak bukak restaurant dkt kulim boleh learn from akar lima! I ordered the beef tenderloin and my partner ordered raja pesto pasta.
Beef tenderloin
- nice presentation
- beef is juicy
- gravy is bussin
For the raja pesto pasta my partner said it was really good and she finished the whole meal in like 10mins even though we requested more pasta.
Really looking foward to come again for the 10001th time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really like the cozy ambience. We ordered grilled lamb and beef tenderloin. They include ulam raja as the salad topping. Suprisingly it goes well with the dishes (for me). They grill it to my liking and not grill until dry like most of the restaurant in Kulim. Portion is not too big. I also liked the drinks

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been dining here since 2015. The taste never change. Lovely place by lovely people. Ulam raja pesto pasta definitely is my comfort food. Everything is perfect. Would return again and again and again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place, nice ambient. It's a garden themed restaurant which doesn't have too many available seatings if it rains. Lucky we came early after they opened at 5pm.
If you book early, you can get reservations. Can discuss with owner for special functions.
Food was delicious! I had the tuscan chicken with pasta and hubby had it with rice...desert and salads are also sold here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ unpretentious and laid back set-up. kids friendly as the garden is safe for kids to play around. would be nice if there is a family friendly table set isolated from the rest for kids as not to disturb other patrons. parking is adequate and easy to get.. nice place to bring spouse for relaxing dinner.
