★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wide range of baking items - well display and organised but the service is deplorable. When you ask them for a item they will tell you over there pointing a rows of shelves. At least have the courtesy say which shelf and not over there. and they have no smile on their face. Probably its their management style.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm just back from getting my stocked here. I do love to go here because they already moved to a new store that is quite big than before. But the sad thing that makes me don't want to go here again is, that one of the staff is rude, not friendly (one aunty at the cashier).
She was mad because I have many items and she said “Susah lah banyak I sorang” so is that my problem?? And the face even she wore the mask but u can see the bad face she made. So frustrated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are visiting during the weekend, expect a short (10 to 15 mins) queue outside the shop. SOP is strictly followed and crowd control was done in an orderly manner. You can find almost everything you need at a competitive price. Staffs are also very friendly in assisting. As for parking, you may need to park further as there are car workshops around and you won’t be able to park. Overall it’s a good place to buy baking ingredient and I will recommend Bake With Yen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All your baking goods at a reasonable price. A wide range of specialty flours is available, from your normal baking flour to self rising to bread flour, 'pau' to superfine to cake flour.
At the same time, it is our to go to for dried fruit;- apricots, figs, raisins, black currants, cranberries etc and nuts;- almonds, hazelnuts, Brazilian, cashews etc.
Also available is the dairy such as butter;- salted and unsalted with different brands and price range and cheese;- mozzarella, cheddar, parmesan etc.
They do have cocoa powder for the chocoholics out there. These range from premium to local to Belgium ones, dark to milk to white.
If you go upstairs, you can find tubs, moulds, cake decorating stuff, plastics and baking paper and etc.
The shop can get pretty cramped as it isn't a huge place to begin with. Back then, it was always crowded.
Service has gotten better over the years since the business was sold off. They have also have many branches mushrooming off at different areas and states! Hours and days have also been extended to 7 days a week and from 9am-9pm.
Update, its the MCO so hours are affected.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Latest update: The outlet has moved location. Now it is facing opposite of Fatty Crab on the other side of the shop lots. This new lot is much larger and only 1 floor. Spacious and comfortable for several customers to walk in each aisle. Now it has more display of containers, boxes and other non-edible baking supplies

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Parking can be quite hard to get as this area is quite popular.
It’s spacious inside with lots of good stuff one would want to find in a bakery ingredients store.
Love the variety of ingredients and great prices. Clean. Air cond was great.
I love the fridge section with all the packed nuts in different sizes. Makes it easier to purchase in bulk or small quantities.
Layout is comfortable and easy. Lots of space for social distancing.
Friendly staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bake With Yen (BWY) has moved to this new much bigger premises. The Grand Opening was on 15 to 17 April 2022. Now, it occupied a corner unit and the shop lot next to it. I found it much more comfortable to shop with more goods and wider aisles.
