β β β β β Awesome friendly and welcoming gym, David ( owner) is a great coach and explains every movement slowly and multiple times when required. Really would recommend to try out, and the first 3 trial classes are free, so no excuses!

β β β β β This is a great place to learn martial arts. The premise is super clean and the aesthetics are kept elegant and minimal, quite a contrast to other mma/bjj/muaythai gyms. Coach Dave himself is very technical as a instructor, as others have mentioned, the gym seems to cater to those more mentally/technically inclined and has less of that 'meathead' vibe, to use the words of other reviewers. He takes effort to ensure a positive learning environment for his students and in martial arts circles where quality of instruction is hit or miss, Coach Dave is a principled guy and is someone students (especially younger men) can learn from.

β β β β β Really great place to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Really beginner friendly as well. Coach David is a great instructor. If you're into MMA grappling, he's also really good in explaining the moves fighters use. Overall, great place.
(The gi's are also bloody awesome!)

β β β β β Blueprint Martial Arts is a fantastic gym that is growing into a thriving community. I have been attending classes for three months now and can genuinely say I have enjoyed every session and have made progress in each. The coach (David M) is personable, patient and knowledgeable and has the admirable skill of being able to adapt mixed-ability classes to meet your needs. Thoroughly recommended!

β β β β β This is an absolutely amazing place to train Jiu Jitsu. I havenβt seen a better martial arts space in the 20 years Iβve been training. There is such a friendly and welcoming vibe that made me nstantly feel at home there - unlike some of the other gyms Iβve been to that have a very aggressive, βmeatheadβ type of vibe.
The coach, David Melsom, is a highly dedicated martial artist and a truly quality human being.
Because heβs not the biggest, strongest or most naturally talented Jiu Jitsu player, heβs had to focus on the fundamentals of what makes the art effective for people of all sizes and ability levels. This means that heβs developed an understanding of the importance of focused practice and technical excellence.
What impresses me most about him is his absolute commitment to providing his students with the best possible experience when they step on his mats. This means that everyone who chooses to learn from him progresses quickly and has fun at the same time.
