★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although they can develop film decently, however, Darkroom8's general service is terrible. The use of paperless and digital methods for most of its' services are intentionally good but very inefficient. They do not accept cash and card payment. Only bank transfer is accepted after waiting ages for the invoice email due to the staff's laziness. It is also a burden that they cannot present your film negatives from previous visits through walk-ins and that you have to make an appointment beforehand. Giving the excuse that all staffs need to abandon their work to look for the film negatives and even that would take a minimum of 3 hours. Totally disgusting service from Darkroom8. I would suggest to develop your film negatives from other services available in KL. Definitely would not visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's my first time sending my films here. Photos turned out really good except that I didn't like their service.
First, they didn't send my photos on time because they overlooked my payment which I've paid via paypal and have also sent an email to update that I've made the payment.
Secondly, before sending over my film rolls, I asked if they could return me my canisters they said yes. But when I got the email from them they said no, I asked again and they said they would return them to me so I've paid for posting. Fast forward to a few weeks later, I only got back my negatives with no canisters because they overlooked it and they asked if they could keep it till my next order which means that I'll have to pay for postage again. Obviously my answer is no. I understand that people do make mistakes at work, but for 2 mistakes to be made for 1 order, I think it's quite unacceptable.
Film scanning and developing were great, I loved how the photos turned out compared to many other labs I've been too but after this incident, I don't think I'll send my films in again.
If I was told that they would not return my canisters, I would have at least send in another set of film rolls that I'm sure I wouldn't want to keep.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decided to try Darkroom8 instead of the usual shop I go for. Anyway, I really love the delivery service makes it easier for me as I can just Grab my films to the shop. They emailed me my invoice, and I can just make payment online.
Got my photos within 2 days, I think I missed the payment deadline and it’s peak film season so a bit delayed. Really happy with the service. Thank you!
