★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mum and I purposely ordered lower part of the chicken which means drumstick and thigh. However, not whole drumstick was served. From the bone, it's obvious that only 1/4 of drumstick is served and some breast meat was mixed in the plate. I told the person in charge that not whole drumstick is not served and she said this is how we mix. Well done
Anyway, the poached chicken is nice and tender. Food quality is good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Price per dish is slightly pricey for vegetable. Rm12 per plate. The portion is not that big for vegetable.
Cendol is too sweet. Asam fish is not bad. 400g around rm36. More to salty tasty but glad that it is not spicy suitable for who cant eat spicy yet want to try asam fish, u can go ahead.
The aunty who is taking order will give recommendation on what u should order and quite funny as well, you might feel she is fierce but actually not.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant has been a family favourite since they opened for business. Must order dish for us are asam stingray, kampung chicken and claypot brinjal. Pre and post MCO standard remains the same and that’s always a big reason we revisit restaurants.
Came back again today 24/11/2021, the salted egg yolk squid is another fam favourite but today was way off. The whole plate was soggy, no crisp at all, taste was not on point like it usually is, and when feedback to the cashier on duty she obviously just layan me. Rude much. Very disappointed with this meal :(

A bit pricey though perhaps due to the Austin Heights popular location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came for the braised pork belly and chicken rice. Both tasted amazing. The braised pork belly is a secret item that's not on the menu, order it! The pork belly literally melts in your mouth! If you don't like your meat fat avoid this place. The chicken was really tender and every grain of the rice was infused with the chicken soup flavour. Also, chilli is the bomb!
