j	jonathan chong on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a satisfied stayed at Suria Merang. The first day when having buffet breakfast, there a kitten on top of the buffet table. No one seem to bothered! The room is okay, but the cupboard is really not good. It is difficult to opened and its like dropping off. We try to rent bicycle but no more in service. We are quite disappointed. Later, we wanted to do kayaking but when we find out that the river/lake that we going to kayak, we cancelled the plan. Because the river looked very scary and quite dirty. Seems like no one doing the kayaking for a long time. But in the website its look so different, it is so enticing. The river/lake around the resort is so dirty. The beach are quite dirty because not enough dustbin around the area. There are nothing much to do. We borrowed Monopoly and Scrabble to play with during the night. Overall, disappointed stayed at the resort. Only some of the stuff are helpful about our enquiries about places of interest to visit.

Good if you're looking for a cheap quiet place with just a bed to sleep at night, other basic amenities were quite not quite satisfactory: lack of light in the room, no good water heating, leaking toilet ceiling etc. Service staff were quite helpful but clear communication can be a bit of a problem. Also not very accessible, no grabcars were willing to drive all the way in to pick us. It is however very close to an empty beach, which can be pretty. However, there is no infrastructure out there to spend time by the beach, and its rather barren-looking. In all it's ok for the price paid, but you really pay for what you get.
R	Rosliza liza on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Firstly,the room just like never ever been cleaned before and so many ‘taik cicak’ everywhere especially on the windows.Secondly,the tv just had 3 channels (not according to the offers) and wireless connection is really poor you know??.Third,the lamp wire is not safe for childs okayy?? and at the ceiling had so many ‘sawang’ .Please get rid of it.Fourth,the bathroom: the temperature of water is just cold n no hot.Then, one of the towel have a big hole.The air conditioner was too bad and the floor just need to be cleaned. Lastly,the only good reason is the most calm sea that i ever feel,the beach is very beautiful if there was no rubbish and swimming pool is not very bad.yes i know that i get the lower price but please treat us like other customers too.hotel lain pun ada yg murah jugak tapi tak la teruk mcm ni.I hope you can improve.
M	Mohd Khairi Wahid on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice area. Water heater not working. Lack of covered passageway so when raining season even want to go to restaurant need an umbrella. Kids playground should be relocated. Exposed to hot sun and rain. Room ok but some furniture need repair.
G	Gerald Gan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed the stay, great location and good food in the restaurant. Staff were helpful and check in and out smooth. Rooms were clean and comfortable. One thing that will be great is if you can include mosquitoe spray for the room as there were quite a few mosquitoes in the toilet area.
A	Am Johan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small secluded resort. Located quite far from city center. But a great place to escape from busy hectic city life. Surrounding is very calming. Just a short walk from the shore. The swimming pool is very small. It can be overcrowded when there's alot of other visitors. The room is an old room. A bit damp. The bed are comfortable but the pillows are to soft for my liking. Old set of TV and old wooden cupboard of which are not properly maintain. Luckily the aircond works fine. Staff are friendly and helpful.

You'll get the privilege to go to the beach on your own, and nobody would say "don't do this, can't do that" yet if you do care about the nature, you'll do good. Services and food are great, and the staff's friendliness would make you feel like being home, near the beach even though you never owned one.

Pool has a mini waterslide for kids. Free breakfast as we booked early. Good place for camp or training events. Beautiful beach but a bit steep for swimming.
