★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought a brand new Electrolux dryer but it was installed wrongly by Harvey Norman installer and caused water leakage. Electrolux had sent a technician over to just “glue” the holes and the technician had to come 3 times because it is not just one hole that causes the leakage!
I took your sweet advice where to engage your installer because Harvey Norman would not bear any damages caused by an external installer. However, this was caused by the carelessness and the unskilled installer of your team. This is totally unacceptable for any newly purchased product and expect me to accept it as it is!
I have reached out to HN since March 2022 until now, your service time just pushed me around and nobody responded to my complaints! I do not expect this kind of product and service quality from Harvey Norman!
This is my first purchase and may be the LAST from Harvey Norman Mid valley!

The clear benefits of going to Harvey Norman would be competitive pricing and their extended warranty plans which can be useful for some appliances.

When it comes to household appliances, Harvey Norman is a well-known brand in Malaysia.
This Harvey Norman store features a large range of products, making it a perfect all-in-one location. Customers can extend their warranties by paying a small fee along with their complete products. Yes, the price is a little higher on some items, but at Harvey Norman, you will get everything as it should be; there will be no phoney products sold here, for sure. All of the things for sale are branded and are largely imported from other countries.
The staff is courteous and willing to assist you if you require any assistance. Furthermore, the staff is quite educated about all of the things supplied here, increasing your purchasing trust. All of the staff are Malaysians who can converse effectively in both English and Malay. I enjoy their staff' approach of not being pushy when it comes to sales; in fact, I believe the staff have been taught to deliver excellent customer service in the first place.
I'd like to correct a common misconception about Harvey Norman, which is that it's an expensive or high-class store. This is completely false. Although the Harvey Norman store appears to be of a high grade with international brand names, some of the things sold here are often significantly less expensive than those found in any other retail store with no branding. Customers will be more likely to notice their on-sale products since they are highlighted. Furthermore, substantial discounts will be given as part of clearing stock during sales campaigns, and you can still bargain for a lower price if you buy a large number of products from them.
All of the products are carefully displayed, and each product is organised into its own department, making the shopping experience more delightful. Every time I walk into this Harvey Norman store, I feel at ease, and the front staff is always friendly. I always come here to shop for any kind of electrical appliances for my home and office because the prices are reasonable, the warranties are guaranteed, and the staffs who deliver to our homes are quick and go above and beyond to make sure everything is in working order for us; this is how Harvey Norman charms us with service, which keeps us coming back even when there are no sales.
