โ โ โ โ โ I always ordered the dry version but this time I ordered the soup version. While the soup was hot, it was comforting on a rainy day. Soup was ok. Noodles springy & soft but could taste the alkaline. Char siew was sweet, fatty and tender. And the morsels of wanton was ok. Regardless of small or large, the condiments were the same - 5 slices of char siew, 3 wantons & about 6 pieces of choy sum. Pathetic thinking for our food hawkers. I tried their siu kow dumplings once. It was sourish and not fresh. They allowed smoking on the premise even though there was a No Smoking sign on the wall.

โ โ โ โ โ Pretty nice and simple establishment. The menu is not extensive, but it's important for dinners to know that they are serving what they cook best! I had their chicken feet wanton noodles, which is a must try in this place. The chicken feet are stewed to the point that it's literally "fall off the bones" yet they maintain their distinct shape. Their "yee mai fu zhok" (barley with bean curd skin soup) is fantastic, semi sweet and thick. Their red bean soup is cooked to the point that the beans are barely recognizable, which is the way I love the soup! I can't stand red bean soup that I have to gnaw at the beans, as much as it's presence validates it as red "bean" soup.

โ โ โ โ โ The charsiew was most delightful, just rightly sweet, salty & easy to chew on. They also sell pillow dumplings.

โ โ โ โ โ A hidden gem. Will be back to try out the fish porridge. Wan Tann Mee was silky smooth but some may have a different opinion as the soya sauce used is 'sweet bade'. Char siew was on the fatty side but taste was GOOD. Pork trotter porridge was delicious!!! Worth the drive there for a good lunch!
