★ ★ ★ ★ ★ beautiful beaches & chill. Plus it's heaven for duty free items such chocolates/ kitchen equipment as Tefal, vantage & other imported goods. ? duty free cigarettes/ perfumes and cosmetics is much cheaper where you can get at jetty Langkawi or airport which is authentic.
Especially in airport & jetty Langkawi you may get the item in pair or set with a reasonable price.
Other than that, must shop is their baggage in Langkawi parade/ HIG complex...price is great. Cheaper than kl...
For non Muslim, ? price is reasonable and duty free.
what I can said about Langkawi is a state with a 99 beautiful islands surrounded and it's a truly unique vacations. Others is a duty free shopping paradise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ferry terminal in Kuah in general was ok. But seems like there are a lot of touts as you disembark. Biggest complaint was the dirty toilets which you had to pay RM0.50 to use and no toilet rolls provided within the toilets. The lady then told me I had to pay extra for tissues. I find this absolutely absurd. The toilets within the disembarking & embarking area were much cleaner, free & tissues provided.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this island and the people great beaches nice hotels and plenty to see along the coast, good selection of restaurants and bars very little night life and because of the travel restrictions it's very quiet at the moment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love Langkawi ?? ? For me 5 days is not enough to explore everything. I stay at Best Star Resort. The hotel really near the beach Pantai Chenang. Staff are very friendly and polite. Will definitely come here again! ??
