★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The specialty food served was LEMPENG - a thick mixture of wheat flour, little bit of grated coconut and some water, spread on hot kwali.
Its taste was just like the one prepared by my late emak. When I was small, not even qualify to attend primary school, I used to eat lempeng for breakfast together with my siblings. I took one piece only whereas my elder brothers and sisters would take at least two pieces, enough to stay full until noon.
Over here its LEMPENG had been modernized to suit contemporary taste.
Don't drive/ride so fast. Otherwise you would miss the place and needed to make a U-turn!
