★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Local government office to paying assessment tax bills and parking fees for Sungai Petani town. MPSPK is city council of Sungai Petani. The hall are nice, clean and look grand. The landscape outside MPSPK building are plants with bucida trees and crystal decoration lamp trees when open at night it looks beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are ample parking spaces and it only gets used up during an event or busy crowded day when everyone is there for the same purpose.
The service here is only acceptable for simple matters such as paying your parking fine or yearly tax assessment. Housing developers will have issues dealing with certain departments on the upper level due to their delays in issuing relevant letters.
Recently, we came across a problem in which we were not happy with how it was resolved. Parking coupons are not required for parking during MCO period but we purchased two 3 month parking coupon car stickers that lasted from April to June 2020. It cost RM360 for both stickers so I went to the parking coupon department in hopes that we can get a fair 3 month extension from July to September 2020 (parking coupon resumed on 1st July) but the suggestion was declined after the staff spoke to her boss about the matter. This is very unfair and feels like a scam because we wasted our money and now have to buy new car stickers from July to September. It is service like this that made me feel that some people sitting at the top do not deserve their position because they are only good at pushing the problem to others or completely burying the problem.
