β β β β β I love it here because the spot as a place for anyone to enjoy their free time playing with water is just right at the center of the city. This brings convenience towards many people. Moreover, the fees are definitely affordable - less than RM5. This swimming place also provides a day for women only and it is on Wednesday. Furthermore, for those who are staying at Hotel Seri Malaysia, you can go for swimming at this MBAS Swimming Pool because it's only a stone's throw away from the hotel. Last but not least, there are lots of restaurants near the swimming pool and there's KFC!

β β β β β As we know AS swimming pool is famous with its bad water quality, dirty, unclear water and so on since 90's. So ppl moved to ASRC for better water quality even though it is just 25m long.
NOW IT HAS CHANGED!!
The government has finally replaced the new filter system (old one has been operating since 90's and water cleanliness cant sustain long) and now the water quality is superb. But there is price to pay, the entrance fee is increased from Rm3 to Rm5 now. The monthly fee is no longer Rm50. It is more than double.
You should try it out!

1.Failure in Facilities Management.
2. Taking shower with urine smell due to pipe blockage
3.Water in the pool is very dirty when i came in around 10am.You can even see the base of the swimming pool
4. If you can use other alternative with payment such as hotel pool or etc..I advise you to do so.
5. What is Kedah government doing especially the KCS Kedah Civil Servant..(#ranked just below Sultan), or you dont evencare about public facilities.

β β β β β Big pool. Clean. Not too crowded. Plenty of space to swim. No locker. Changing room is clean but old. Cheap single entry (RM3).

β β β β β The swimming pool is quite clean. Since it's outdoor swimming pool, during hot weather season, the pool is almost warm which is kinda nice.
I also like that the surrounding is decorated with a lot of vegetables/fruit plants like Spanish spinach, aubergine, pineapple, coconut. Landscaping is done quite nicely.
Entrance fee for an adult is rm5. Quite reasonable I feel, they also have the monthly pass which is rm120 for an adult.
The toilet is lacking... Most doors in the male toilet are not equipped with lock. The hygiene is also commendable.
Overall, if you don't use the toilet facility much, it's quite a good public swimming pool.
