Up to more than 20 stalls to choose from with a wide variety of Malaysian favourites. Be seated anywhere and order your meal. Even if you're 20 stalls away, they will bring your food to the table. Eat first pay later concept...Nice. Friendly stall owners and patrons. Price are reasonable if not cheap. Recommend and must try the Half Bolied Eggs on Toast or famously known as the 'Roti Telur Goyang' served with pepper & soy sauce (at your own disposal of course). Selections of Roti Canai, Local Noodles ie. Mee Kari, Udang, Rebus, Bandung etc. Fried or Chicken Rice. Nasi Lemak etc. Kuih-muih (Local home made cakes & pastries). Basically all Malaysian Breakfast lah!! Your visit to Ipoh shall not be complete without being here!

Usually it will be packed with people by 9am on the weekend. Parking is ample but you will be charged except on Sunday and public holiday. So many menu offers here just choose which fullfil your appetite.

Lots of table & seats. Food court concept clean and good environment. Enjoy breakfast & lunch here. Have a try guyss!!!

S	Sazali M Salleh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a MUST visit place in Ipoh, for all well meaning tourists...Most people dont seem to realize that this is the ONLY place where two of the most significant and towering historical figures in Perak still face each other, in a stand off, until today...For all those history buffs, Im sure you could recall the roles played by Dato Sagor, who was responsible for killing JWW Birch, the first British resident in Perak...Well, either by design or by default, the popular foodcourt that bears Dato Sagor's name is directly facing, or shall I say, putting the Birch Memorial Clock Tower under seige, in perpetuity!! Not so many people are aware of the existance of the clock tower, but most people couldnt stay away from the foodcourt!!???

Since everyone speaks highly of the "roti goyang" (and it is indeed, awesome), let me highlight a few other things you should try. Stall No 18 has appam or hoppers which are made from slightly fermented rice/rice flour. A gluten-free meal. This stall's appam is crispy at the edges with an extremely fluffy centre. I usually look for appam with gooey centres, but the fluffiness of this one more than makes up for the lack of goo. You dunk it in coconut milk and it is so lovely in the mornings. For RM3.00, you get a plate of 2 appams. Stall No 15 has noodles such as mee hailam, wan tan hor and kuey teow, if you want to try something more substantial. This is our go-to place when we travel back to Ipoh.
