Very nice sanuki udon. They serve real ones. Tempura is nicely cooked and other menu are all tasty. Must try.

This place is very special as the udon is handmade by the chefs, very chewy like mochi. lots of options to choose from too. udon amount is just right. lots of Japanese at this place too. However the only thing is that the soup base will make mouth dry, don’t know if it’s msg or just too salty. overall recommend for udon lovers

Good ambience and reasonable price. Self-made Udon and variety of udon selection. You will able to see the udon making machine at the front of the shop. Udon display available at front, allow you has some best popular selection. Services is great, quick and friendly. Will visit again for sure and try different udon! Creme salmon udon is lovely.

New location …. Ample parking. No need to go fight with shoppers @ mall. Verdict … nice thick and chewy type of udon. My type. Tempura was also done very well. At this moment cash term @ 01.04.2022 All in for about MYR 74.10

*Note: Lots of street parking right beside as shown in the pictures, you can just park in the empty lot Ambience: Really good interior and exterior decoration, reminds me of an authentic Japanese restaurant that one might find at Ginza. Not too many people too so it was easy to get seated Service: Staff are really attentive and were active in ensuring that we got all our orders when it seemed like our food was taking a while. Tea refill was pretty quick too Food: Very good udon with all the common variants you’d find, I’d even say one of the best I’ve had in KL so far. Go for their cold udons if you want something to try since the texture of it is pretty chewy, and really something different from any Japanese restaurants I’ve seen so far. It’s all made in store too so you can rest assured that the udon will be fresh Price: A bit pricier (somewhere in the range of RM25-30 per bowl of udon), but I’d argue that you’re getting your money’s worth in terms of quality. Conclusion: Although not somewhere I’d come often (to save my wallet), this is an experience that I would highly recommend anyone to try. I would come back again if I were in the mood for udon

Had some top class udon for dinner tonight. Miyatake Sanuki Udon used to be located within the Isetan Store in 1 Utama. It’s now moved to Mont Kiara. Excellent udon with good texture and bite without being too soft or hard. A few friends had a Pork Sanuki Udon that is dry mixed rather than the usual soup based udon. I had some curry udon with a delightful piece of β€œtonkatsu” (boneless fried pork) along with thin slices of pork. One of the best curry udon I can recall having. The Japanese curry had good flavour and was not starchy. We also had some tempura that they pair with some specialty salts. I liked the tempura items, especially the pumpkin. Think I still prefer it with the usual tempura dipping sauce rather than the salts offered here. (No pic of the tempura). Just for some variety, also ordered a small serving of wasabi octopus sashimi. Tasty if a tad boring. @whiskydev

Excellent Udon in a location that's still relatively easy to park. The noodles were just right, ingredients fresh and soup well flavoured. Will be back.
