★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lot of street arts including the portrait of Tun Mahathir and the late Tunku Abdul Rahman, The first Prime Minister of Malaysia. There are many rusty wall and buildings. Street photographers will love this place. The roads are quite busy because most shops a wholesaler. There are also a few restaurants by the Riverside where you can see the famous Masjid Zahir and Alor Setar Tower.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pekan Cina or Chinatown, one of the oldest part of the city of Alor Setar. There are alot of shops around. Many good cafes can be found here. Jeti Pekan Cina is also located here. The only issue is the bad traffic and vehicles parking terribly blocking the road. If you want to come here, just book grab or taxi. And it can be very hot especially during the middle of the day.
