★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a rainy evening and i had no electricity at home. So i dropped by this restaurant which i had patronised almost a decade back.
Many people called for their chicken rice but my favourite is their plain porridge blanched chicken. It warms the tummy and the soul on a rainy evening. The chicken is soft, springy and if you are the sort that likes chicken gizzard and liver and fried pig intestines, this place does it well. Additionally it also has braised eggs, tofu and century eggs if you want additional stuff in your porridge. Don't forget to ask for their complimentary chicken soup, which is lightly flavoured and sprinkled with scallions.
Reasonable pricing, hood social distancing tables and easy parking.
