★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The "go to" shop for bicycle maintenance and repair! Mr Tan stocks some bicycles for sale as well and is able to order different models etc upon request. Honestly I am so impressed by Mr Tan's customer service and technical expertise. So rare to find small town style hospitality and service like this in the big city. This is my go to bike shop now.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super friendly and honest boss mr Tan who genuinely only recommends what are required according to budget. He patiently guided my 2 teenagers how to fold/ unfold the folded bike, guiding them how to maximize the use of gears etc. The market is full of high end bike shops, this is a little gem for those who only need some simple bicycles for leisure rides, without paying too much to additional features that we would never master.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We can hardly find these type of low profile bicycle repair shop in PJ anymore, either there’s no apprentice to take over the business or this kind of business cannot survive in this era where bicycling activity has become an expensive hobby with all the high end road bikes and foldable bikes.
Anyway, apart from the Sungai Way shop, I managed to find this bicycle repair shop run by this owner named Ah Fai. He is very practical and down to earth. Initially he advised me there’s no need to change my rear tyre (even though there are multiple side cracks) if I were to only ride short distance for leisure.
By the way, I just changed the tyre at the Sungai Way shop about 6 months ago, seldom ride it (probably less than 15 times) and already have multiple side cracks. Looks like the tyre is an old stock. ?
Anyway, I insisted to change it not wanting to take any risk and since I am already there. ?
We had lots of discussion about the bicycle industry, manufacturers, how the gear works, the adjustment, etc. He is so patient and so willing to share. Learnt a lot from him today! ??
I ended up not only changing the tyre, I also change the inner tube and the saddle. ? Very comfortable saddle which will not hurt your butt and groin. ? All in, the damage is less than RM70. Very reasonable.
I hope that Ah Fai will be able to continuously provide affordable bicycle repair services to his loyal customers. I know I am going to be one of them from today onwards! ?

He is a VERY VERY friendly and honest person.
Yes this is his own business, at times he will get busy with his personal stuff.
I understand, and I will leave my bike there for him to fix with no worries.
My hanger derailleur for my mtb broke and chained fully rusted. He changed it for me.
He also told me to get the hanger derailer from online and come back to him to fix it as his was pricier, but I still have it to him to do as I trusted him.
He is well experienced and for my middle kid bike install the kids guiding wheel, he recommend to adjust as well.
My kids pink pedal shaft kept coming out when pedalling, he fixed it as well..
