β β β β β Bought one 8 treasure salted chicken, the signature dish. Totally awesome, not overly salted and well balance herbal infused taste in the free range chicken. RM 24 per chicken. Worth every cents.

β β β β β A great place to buy salted chicken or duck delicacies. A variety of cooking and preparing the meat which is essentially baked in salt. The poultry meat is tender, of the right blend of saltish flavour and herbs. An ideal gift to friends, especially outstation ones. A fulfilling and satisfying complement to a heavy meal at home.
Location of Wan Li Xiang (θ¬ιι¦) is not the corner lot any more along Yau Tet Shin street as shown in Google map of 2014. Its present location is the second shop lot since 2015. Its original strategic corner is now occupied by Happiness Authentic Local Delights (εζ΄ζ΄).

β β β β β One of our chicken started to smell after we reached home! Don't buy from this store. The chickens are baked earlier and was not stored properly. Hence, the chickens are not fresh. The store should learn how to store properly if it's baked early.

β β β β β On 29 May 2018 I paid RM26 for their Eight Treasures herbal salted chicken which normally cost RM24 because the staff said the chicken size is bigger.
They did not give me a receipt. My bad, I didnβt ask.
The herbal taste is very mild. I prefer a stronger herbal taste.
Also bought a roasted chicken smoked with sugar cane called βyen fern jiβ in mandarin at RM35.
Taste is salt chicken, nothing special ~ not recommended.

β β β β β Dec. 2021.,bought 3 frozen salted WLX chicken and took them home to Alor Setar. Next day my youngest sister took one out of freezer and steam it. Results? Taste okay, not too salty and possess herbal fragrance. My whole family says no complaints. Price Rm27 each. Compare to other brands l have tasted from lpoh l would say it is the best for now. Size wise it is above average after my family also steam the remaining 2 chickens. Keep it up!
