Visited in June 2022. Overall the food was average to below average because we have eaten much tastier soto and batangor elsewhere. We wanted to rank 2 stars but because the price was rather expansive (eg. RM18 for a bowl of soto with tough beef slices), we rank only 1 star. Overall, not recommended.

Service, deco is average. But the food. Top notch proper authentic Javanese stuff. Reminiscing the taste days after coming here. Strongly recommend!

I ordered the martabak and the sate from here for a potluck lunch. The chicken satay was quite plain, with the garnish separate, but it was well cooked. The martabak cheese (Indonesian version, like Malay apam balik) was incredibly tasty. Will be keen to come back to this place to try more of its menu.

Had the nasi goreng gila on my visit. Server asked on what level of spiciness from 1 to 5 I'd like for my nasi goreng, when I asked for "normal" spiciness,he said that that'll be level 3. Huge mistake, level 3 already feels like it's burning a hole in my stomach. Beware of "normal" level of spiciness that is Level 3.

My partner and I have been here a few times based on a recommendation from my Indonesian friend. This place serves unpretentious, authentic Indonesian food. Hard to find in PJ. The nasi goreng gila is served with a spiciness level that you can choose from 1 to 5 and it really hits the spot. The portion was monstrous, we ended up taking home half of it. We also had the nasi ayam geprek which was really good. We especially loved the sambal. They’ve recently upgraded to an online menu ordering system which is very convenient but the names of dishes lacked pictures and it was hard to choose what to order when we didn’t know what the food looked like. Hope that they’ll add pictures of the food soon and also maybe add more menu items? We’re keen to try more authentic Indonesian food from here. Last but not least, the martabak manis is one of our favs and we’ve ordered it via delivery a few times already. Try it, it’s delicious!
