โ โ โ โ โ Claypot chicken rice is decent with generous portion. It is cheap. It is not the best I had but taste decent and nice. Only 1 type of soup is available and taste diluted. Go at the right timing before 5.30pm to avoid the crowd and waiting.

โ โ โ โ โ One of the cheapest and traditional claypot rice โ
Small - RM8.50 (1pax and half) / Large - RM16 (3 pax) ! ??
Their large portion no joke can eat about 3 pax or 2pax and half seriously worth it !
Quite a huge place restaurant and parking easy to find
Bare in mind they use charcoal to cook the claypot rice so it take time to cook yeah
Waited about 15mins to get my foods

โ โ โ โ โ This claypot chicken rice is still the best around this area. They moved from a corner house to a corner shoplot now which is spacious and more table. A large pot is just nice for a couple and price is reasonable as well.

โ โ โ โ โ We were driving around Setapak area and were looking for a place to have our dinner. As we are not familiar with this area, we used Google map and searched for claypot rice. Wei Ji came up as the closest result and we decided to try it out.
We arrived before 6pm and there were many unoccupied tables. We ordered a small claypot rice, a blanched iceberg salad and a wintermelon soup. The portion of the claypot rice was very generous. The chicken pieces were big and they also added chinese sausage. I did not find the quality of the sausage good and little too sweet for my liking. The chickens could have been marinated a bit long to make them more flavourful. The rice was well cooked. The vegetable was disappointing. A bit too overly blanched and the oyster sauce was watery and just too salty. The soup was okay. The total bill was cheap. The claypot was RM9, soup was RM4 and the vegetable was RM6. I understand that with these prices, they will have to cut some corners. I will not go back there. But I do recommend to those who prefers budget eating and great service. Portions were big. Just not that tasty. 4 stars for value and great customer service.

โ โ โ โ โ The best claypot chicken rice in town
Probably the best claypot chicken rice in the world
The rice is juicy and yummy
The chicken is perfectly cooked moist juicy tender and tasty
Married with Chinese sausage it amplified the taste
With the boost of the Uber salted fish it takes you taste bud to heaven
For the hardcore claypot rice fans the bottom of the claypot rocks off your socks crunch crispy toasted roasted yummy
BTW great value for money as well

โ โ โ โ โ Order the clay pot chicken rice, vege and soup. Taste good, the rice is well coated with the sauce and soup has enough flavour kick to get slurping, decent portion, value for money

โ โ โ โ โ The claypot chicken rice wasn't bad but it was a bit moist. However I love the vege. It was so nice and fresh. Also, the price was reasonable.
