★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Renovated my house 2 years ago with Y+C, great experience overall. Definitely recommended. As first home owner I was quite lost in where to start, but Yap helped and guided me step by step on the entire renovation process. A lot of good advice given too. There were some hiccups during the entire process but it was communicated effectively and resolved quickly. I was working overseas back then, Yap made sure to keep a good communication and update me regularly on the house's status(sent pics through whatsapp almost everyday). There are no additional "top-up" in cost throughout the process, and Yap tried his best to accomodate to my new requests & change of mind in some areas.
2 years later, all the installation, walls and tiles are still in tip top quality, no defect detected.
Definitely recommended if you are looking for good quality renovation. Overall it feels like a partnership in building our dream home than just a contracting earning my money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely unpleasant experience with this company, ( they are also known as VBN Trading) They were very aggressive and friendly at the very beginning. They asked to leave good ratings & comments on their online social platform before the work started. I believed this is their usual tactic, asking clients to give a good review before the commencement of work.
We only met the person in charge twice. (1st time is to secure the job and the second is to claim the payment). They leave us to deal with their sub- con and workers ourselves and they did not know about the details and what is going on during the renovation especially for the electrical works (I assume the person in charge was simply pass the drawings to his people without briefing them what to do). Halfway only we found out that most of the wiring is not correctly connected. We have to spend extra money to get another electrical team to redo the works.
Besides, they are irresponsible once we told them something wrong at the site. They just simply left their incomplete and undone works and started MIA. Eg: absent at work and didn't pick up calls. End up we found that, they blocked our calls and refuse to communicate with us without any reason. We tried several ways to communicate and to find out what had happened to sort this out. However, but to no avail.
An attitude like this shall not be tolerated and I think all the consumers shall be alert and beware of “service” like this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was very pleasant to hire Mr Yap as my contractor since my wife found Mr Yap in lowyat forum with very good review reputation, we never think twice and contacted him, Just like those good review, Mr Yap & his partner Mr Chong are very nice and friendly contractor, they would always give a good suggestion and solution to us when we faced difficulties in renovation, i'm especially like the staff and workers, they're all very friendly and carefully handle and refined all the details touch up works. After all the renovation work done, he also gave us a long term warranty for fixing up the defects for us.
