★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is one of my favourite Chinese restuarant. Food is very good and price is very reasonable.
It's local and the atmosphere is more Chinese so don't expect too much from ambience and deco.
My favourite dish is the prawn and the thin sliced pork. Emperor friend rice is also great !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fish was steamed to perfection even though it was 7kg. Chef halved it for 2 tables. Dressed at the table.
We also had yam and sweet potato rice porridge served with condiments of pickled vegetables, fried pork and salt fish patty, omelette to name a few. Fantastic, a meal by itself. Black chicken herbal soup was hot and steamy with no hint of oil, flavourful.

Roast chicken is great, but standouts are really their regular stir-fried vege dishes like lotus root, eggplant, etc. Prices are regular banquet restaurant levels, but some may find it on the higher side. Very good service, despite half of downstairs under renovation. Booking is a must.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here for the CNY Eve Special Set because of the great reviews but was greatly disappointed. Paid RM1000++ for below average food. (Plus, need to pay RM300 in advance). My dad asked me whether reviews were fake or not…The Yee sang’s cracker were left outside for too long (not crunchy), the Shark Fin Soup & Abalone were meh…,the Marble Goby Fish too salty, the Iberico Spare Ribs tasted like normal Char Siew, the Waxed Meat Steamed Rice was tasteless. The dessert were also meh…Overall the experience was very dissatisfying
