Peeps! Don’t waste your time at Good Taste Steamboat the service is ridiculously unsystematic, never understand Customer’s needs and super slow! There were 5 of us, and by right, service crews should bring us to a comfortable table where the pot is in the middle so it’s convenient for everyone (Basic steamboat restaurant rule). But apparently they only have round tables outside, inside are all rectangular/ square tables with induction cooker (obviously they took over previous one-pot-one-person concept restaurant). How to eat traditional steamboat at a rectanglular table, when especially there’s odd number of guests. Despite of the setups, there was one service crew walking around with open wound on his toe! We totally understand he is in pain, but talking about professional and hygiene, he should at least cover his wound by preventing bacteria from spreading! Of all the above aside, we ordered and by right tea should be easily served within 5 mins plus, there were only about 5 tables dining. But not for them, we waited for about 15min but no tea served, no soup served, no dish was served. Meanwhile, we heard another table complaint about their soup isn’t hot when it was served to them because usually the restaurant should pre-heat the soup and serve to table. (P/S: YOU SHOULD LIST DOWN WHAT YOU HAVE FOR YOUR SET PACKAGE FOR 1pax AND 2pax! HOW CAN YOU EXPECT US TO UNDERSTAND BY JUST LOOKING AT THE PHOTO?! Usually photos are for illustration purposes only. We asked but your service crew cannot even answer properly!) In the nutshell, we decided to cancel our order and eat BKT beside this shop. Guess what, once we sat and ordered, our tea was served less than 1 min! Food was served about 5min! And the shop was full house... now, this is what we call service with experience.

Receive brochure on promotion. Went there then the worker said need the brochure only can get the discount. When we provide the brochure another worker said only apply to lunch. I told that the promotion brochure didn’t mentioned it’s lunch and the worker said it’s order from boss. This restaurant just open and people wanted to give them chance but it turned out they do not really fulfill their own promotion. Asked about free soup and was told that the brochure printed wrongly. Disappointed and at the end didn’t dine there. So unsure of quality. They have a sister branch on same row selling mixed rice but it’s not nice and price is ridiculously expensive.
