★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This location offers the best hike experience, there's 2 or more entrance to this place and each trail hikes up to different peak point, this location is opposite a small jetty, another trail has concrete/stone stairs leading upwards which start somewhere near the 3 way junction with signage for Sunday hiking welcome.This 1800steps trail starts opposite a small jetty like structure which I mentioned above and this trail is more beautiful and it leads direct to the peak point which has beautiful gardens and resting place with hammocks attached to trees, however both this peak point has trail leading to each other, so by climbing from one trail entrance, you can hike down to another base point, the views are beautiful and magnificent overseeing both Penang bridges and the Penang Island and not forgetting mainland Bukit Mertajam view

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 30 minutes hike. One view you can see Bukit Mertajam city while another view you can see Penang second bridge. A very good start for beginners. The track is clear and not confusing. You won't lost hopefully. Will repeat again in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy trail to follow, can reach the top within 30 minutes! Once you get to the top, you'll be rewarded with a great view of Bukit Mertajam n also Penang island! There's also a lot of mushrooms on the trail. You could even plan a picnic up there, just remember to clean up after.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You will see a sign in every 100steps and it is valid. Around 1700 stop you will reach a plateau and another 100 steps to the seaview scenery. For the short distance and the nice view, the effort is very worthy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are signs for each 100 steps until you reached the hill top. Suitable for beginners in hiking, but make sure not to go there after raining, as it could be very slippery. There is resting bench at the Step 900 sign. At the plateau, there is nice view facing the Icon City, and there are some resting area where the hikers can rest and enjoy the nice view. On other side of the hill, there is sea view facing the first Penang's bridge. It doesn't take long (roughly about 20 - 40 min) to reach the hill top. At Step 1600, the hill top plauteau is reached. Walk around the plauteau area, and the Step 1800 able to spot nearby hammock resting area.
