Buy fresh seafood from opposite Pontian fish market round 11am. Me Ah Huat will recommend you the best cooking choice for your fresh seafood. Be there before noon to avoid the crowd and waiting time. Enjoy!

Take a queue number first, before going to get your seafoods and vegetables.

they only cook those you bought from the opposite market, they don’t sell those seafood, they only help you cook! and they prepare those dishes really nice and the price are reasonable!

Very packed restaurant on sunday morning, be prepared to wait for at least 30-45mins for seats...good place for bringing fresh seafood in, for them to cook in the style you like...reasonable price and good

Long time did not go here, more than 1 year. Today buy some seafood and cook over here. Include 1 plain rice total RM47 for this 3 dishes cooking fee (代炒费), price range is acceptable or not is up to you opinion, for me is OK lah. Now it is a good time to eat here because not many Singaporean come since RMCO period. Fish is 1.2kg, prawn 1kg, baby squid 0.5kg.

Been coming here regularly whenever there is a seafood craving. First stop is the fish market opposite then the veg seller next door. So what u buy is what u get.. We (4 adult male) typically do 3 fish cook style depend on the fish, 3-4 sotong depend on the size, prawns and 2 Veg. Rice is optional. Exclude drinks, the bill generally RM150-200 for the raw seafood, n RM70-80 for the cooking. No frills restaurant so just come for the cooking.

Came here on a whim as we’ve never visited the Pontian fish market before. The owner, Grace, was extremely friendly and accommodating for us newbies even though it was insanely busy. While we had to wait for over an hour for our 2 fish dishes, we easily passed the time hanging out at the nearby pier and sipping on drinks. The assam fish was out of this world, and the teochew pomfret was absolutely to die for. The restaurant charged RM40 for the two dishes (plus rice), and the fish was RM45 at the market, so RM85 for an amazingly fresh seafood lunch that could’ve fed 3 easily. My only complaint about the whole experience is that we waited a LONG time, but the owner apologized sincerely about it. Despite this, I would highly recommend this to anyone passing through in the morning or early afternoon!
