★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good environment and is windy as they install many giant fans. Mushroom soup was not thick and rich just like can soup. Their portion is very generous. Hainanese chicken chop taste more to ketchup sauce. Sizzling chicken chop was good and their black pepper sauce a little bit over pepper that cause spicy. Lamb shank meat was a bit dry at the skin but inside was tender. Overall ok

Tried the ribeye steak - very tender and black pepper sauce is flavourful but some parts were undercooked. (RM70+?)
Marmalade chicken is interesting...seems like garlic and butter. doesn't look appetising but tastes pretty decent. Tender meat. Coleslaw is very refreshing.
Overall prices are high but food tastes decent. Avoid the tomyum soup. It tastes watered down and they add beansprout in which is odd.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved everything about this place... Service is jiffy and 90% locals. Which I like! Food is tasty especially their specialty hainanese cuisine.
Drinks is stellar! Need I say more?
I like their bread with kaya and butter .. both steam and toasted! They even have the park lard with fried egg rice... Nostalgia! Brings me back to memory lane .. ahhhh ... Those were the days... Good old days.
I rarely gives out 5 stars but this cafe hits me good in all the right places! Don't miss it!
2022 update - they’ve increased their price .. comparable to higher class restaurant with better ambiance. Food is still ?? but not affordable. Shrimp fried rice @RM13, hainan noodles @RM11, mushroom chicken @rm24, fish & chips @rm21. Their coleslaw is very VERY good.
