★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The selection of food is very limited. Mostly are fried rice, fried noodles, fried kuay teow and other fried foods. The Chinese stall only serves wantan mee and a few other noodles. The hygiene is acceptable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a MUST try when you visit Kedah. They serve variety of local delicacies with a rather reasonable price . Quite a lot of FOREIGNER staffs there ready to serve you with smiles and patience .
Their signature roti canai is so smooth it melts in your mouth like a vanilla Sundae . Their curry are the best in the world they're made with imported ingredients and spices that gives you maximum satisfaction to your taste buds .
Overall, it's a loss to Michelin to not rate this place a Five Star .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is provided by the popular eatery in Penang, Jaya Caterers and it's good quality and priced reasonably well. Cleanliness is the only thing lacking and hopefully it can be done by them. The cleaning contractor for other areas are doing good job but the canteen is lacking behind.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The cafe used to good before covid. Used to open until 1+am and the food quality was better. Now they close early (10+pm) and food quality is just getting worse.
For the above cafeteria for students. They queuing system is very bad. Food portion is getting smaller, mostly consist of carbohydrates, and very oily.
Hopefully this gets fixed soon or the tender gets changed to a better one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's reasonably unreasonable to eat here. Hostellers called eating here survival, not thriving or enjoyable. There's one good thing tho, they set the standard low so we get to appreciate better foods elsewhere. But years of eating bad food does increase rate of depression.
