100g for RM16 that will consists of 5-6pieces. You are allowed to mix the baklava of the same price range. It goes well with tea since it can get kinda sweet for some peeps:))

Craved baklavas and was excited to try, as reviews seemed quite rave. Had some difficulty locating store as it is inconspicuously ensconsed between shops. Was taken aback by gruff person attending, to have temperature taken. He was NOT friendly. Was strongly tempted to just walk out of store. However stayed put as my spouse would not have been happy if i didnt purchase anything, after making rounds to find store! Unable to make selection, enquired as to how many types were available. He seemed unhappy but started counting. 16. I then requested one of each type. He seemed annoyed and started to fill box with selection, each time raising the trays and letting it down loudly, not hiding his annoyance. Another customer entered mid action, was again gruffly greeted. Customer then mumbled something and made quick exit. Not surprising as i wanted to join him too. I have experienced rude before and that day i was served a humble portion. Once done he tossed the boxes on the weighing scale and hit the register. 16 tiny pieces in two tiny boxes came to RM52.20. Gulp. Went home and had a bite, thinking perhaps it tasted so good that somehow makes up for the disappointing service. Nope. Each bite was more disappointing then the one before. As mentioned by another reviewer there was a very distinctly strong taste of rose. Too overpowering for my humble palate. Buttery yes but not pleasant. Perhaps i am not a baklava connoisseur however i have tasted baklava in different parts of the world (humble selections) and even in Malaysia, which is not as tiny, costs much less and tastes so much better. Took me a long time to write this review as it is never nice to write an unhappy review. However i wish i had taken note of the not so favourable review before, more seriously. That said, it was an experience for me, even though unpleasant. All experiences are lessons and have silver linings. In this case, it made me appreciate the subsequent baklava surprise gift from my spouse abundantly! Each sized about 2x bigger, more pieces, fit into a box about 6x larger, each bite yielded a smile on my face, till the last piece and cost just about RM10 more. Happiness multiplied β™₯️ Do not take my review to heart, go with your gut feeling as you may be lucky and be served by the nice person mentioned in previous reviews and may have an appreciation for their unique taste. Something good noted was that the premise was clean and product presentation neat ?

The best Arabic baklava I've ever had, beautiful shop with lovely staff with wide variety of selection which is freshly prepared. They’re accepting corporate and occasional personalized request. I’d suggest everything to give a try and worth taking one quotation for your needs. Good luck Al Afif Sweets!
