Worse condo you can ever buy. Management is not helpful. Higher management fee than most condos in Penang. Be careful. You have to pay management to furnish your property. No jack hammer, no sledge hammer and drills allowed during renovation. you can only work 4 hours a day if you are lucky. I say buy landed property if you truly treasure your freedom and ownership.

Best condo building in Penang. Great landscape and world class facilities, friendly and professional staff and guards. Close to schools and other amenities.

We rented Alila 2 almost 8 months now. Good environment, everything looks luxury and nice. But you will find out this condo actually is not worth for MYR 2million plus to buy or MYR4000 to rent. The design and the furniture will make you feel the condo is good because with fully furniture and of course most of the unit is using same design and furniture. But we move in to the house, just few days, the oven is not working, after a month, the microwave is broke, and we used it not more than 5 times for 30 seconds heating, the lady named Maye Ng from customer service of Alila 2 said we have to pay the repair by ourself because is below RM500, so we repaired the microwave for the owner RM320. And the switch button cover for almost whole house were fell down, just when we touch it, Maye also said this one the owner will not change this, we have to change by ourself RM 22 each , total have 8. The wardrobe door stucked , nobody want to bear the charges so no repair. The TV remote control is not working anymore after 2 months, we have to buy new one, also the TV always have problem, ceiling fans were with noisy sound , all the doors in the house very light , once have strong wind , the door will shut up and also make noisy sound because too light. And the funniest thing is the door for the Laundry , mester bedroom and 2nd room, have to pull harder only able to close, so we always have to shut the door harder and the sound is very annoying. We also complained to Maye, by she said owner will not repair this (she never come to check the door at all). Omg, the what owner will do ? Just the cracked wall and water leaking. The owner forgot the he's house will get old with few tenants, and he have to always maintain his house for good condition to rent out . My conclusion is if you want to buy a property or rent, Alila 2 is not a good choice , we were very disappointed with the quality of the house. But the most disappointing us is the customer service Ms. Maye Ng, she's really not responsibility person, when we told her the problem of the door, she want us to learned as experience. For us, she just want to make her job easier and never try to solve our problem. If I am the owner, I will be very upset to let her to take care of my house, she never think to take good care of owner house as well. If she does, she will try to let owner know all the house problem and try to repair them before get very worst and not just say to tenant owner will not repair this and that. Also the behaviour that how she respond to my problem in the group chat, really make us feel uncomfortable, she's really not a good person to talk and solve the problem for us, we really feel helpless.

The facilities are lovely, when they're available. It took workers 10+ weeks to replace some boards and re-varnish the pool deck and it's already rubbing off. That's the story of this place. Construction noises are non-stop. That being said, it's a vast improvement to live up here away from all the racing motorcycle noises.

Construction noises are non-stop. That being said, it's a vast improvement to live up here away from all the racing motorcycle noises. Additional to that its worst management ever, they cannot think or reflect by themself , they have no additional value to manage this property. They fire poor guards without reason. Some facilites are not free :) and reality not quality. Two years tennis court, piscing deck got renew every year. Crazy manament of light and rubish. Hopefully guard are very nice. I would ask to avoid this property.

Been here for 5 months now and we love living at Alila 2. Facilities are excellent. The condo comes with basic furnishings but they are more than satisfactory. Car parking area is good. We looked at various condo around Straits Quay and while they are most probably closer to amenities, the quietness of Alila 2 is a great reason to reside here. We have found the management here to be very helpful if we have had an issue
