The cafe is very comfortable. Lots of greeneries. Library is equipped. Convenient if you are learning french.

Excellent place to learn French and all about French culture. The classes prepare students for DELF/DALF, as well as giving practical info on daily life in France. I'm giving the five stars for the most important thing. Unfortunately, they're lacking in other facilities, such as a prayer room (surau/musollah) for Muslim students. The cafe, Chez Lionel, is pork-free but quite pricey.

The environment was ok. But the lecturer is not responsible, One of the lecturer who stay in this institution for long time always look like very sleepy, and he also doesn’t know what he teach for the previous class, I’ve studied with him for one semester but learn nothing. And for the speaking they will teach nothing, you need learn it by yourself, if you seek for the deep learning don’t choose this institution

It is the best place to learn french. From all the language schools i have been to, this is the least commercialized institution to learn proper french. Some other language schools have promoted themselves as teaching useful french phrases instead of AFKL which teaches everything from the basics and even articulations, but I do think this is the best way to learn correct, proper french. The cafe is super ambient, and as a student, by paying a member fee of RM 100 which lasts for a year, i get to borrow books in the library for free, and enjoy discounts at the cafe. The teachers are helpful and they would tell you the correct way of pronouncing each word(for eg è, ê, ë, é) , instead of some other institutions whose teacher taught me the e's are all pronounced the exact same way. The librarians are helpful also as they brought me to the cafe where I could borrow some more french books. There are also activities in AFKL which you could always opt to join, which is great for meeting new people.

I have started my journey of learning French with a different teacher in a group class before meeting François for private class. I did not like the group class, similar as the review below, I have got the teacher that appeared uninterested, sleepy and drunk to every class. That teacher (let's not name that person) was reluctant to answer questions that students voiced out in class and often forgot what he taught for the previous classes. Fortunate enough for me, I have since opted for private class and I was assigned to a teacher named François. I am so happy with the experience. The class is always well-organised. François is very punctual, professional, well-prepared and organised. I am very satisfied with my French language's learning progress :) Would recommend anyone interested to learn French to get François as your tutor! Worth every RM paid for!

Not crowded. Good security. Ample parking spaces during my visit today 9/11/21 around 11.45 am. Was at the library to return some books. Cafe opened too?.

Cafe inside Alliance Francaise. Food is actually quite good ie pumpkin pasta and croissant. Hidden gem. However, latte is mediocre. #cafe #pasta #pastry
