★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is quite crowded. The food is okay. Price is reasonable. Didn't order their beggar's chicken. Ordered the steamed prawn, portugese style hotplate squid, ginger union fried lala, sing kong homemade tofu and stir fried hongkong choy sum. Overall food is ok.

Absolute good scale of business
And delicious on everything I ordered
Most importantly affordable
You might be surprised by the number of crowd but the speed of serving is absolute efficient
Definitely a gem and icon in Kuantan

Traditional malaysia style 煮炒店 layout. But not that crowd.

Variety of seafood and Malaysia Chinese style 煮炒. Beggar chicken is their signature.
Taste 5/5
Overall taste is good and the portion is big. Just not satisfied the texture of beggar chicken when eating the breast part.

Standard service without any surprise.

Since I'm not familiar Kuantan, I think the location still acceptable and they got volunteer guide the parking as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Still excellent after so many years. Famous for their beggar’s chicken (remember to call to book a portion). But if you’re not coming for this dish, just walk in. Other popular dishes include the sizzling prawns (which are a little sweet), Thai styled steamed tilapia. baked salted chicken and their tofu drenched in salted fish minced pork. This last dish can be a little small so suggest to order an additional tofu if you like tofu dishes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cheap and delicious seafood place. Definitely worth the money and wait. There can be quite a long queue especially on weekend after 7pm. Food serving is fast! Steamed fish is fresh. Asam fish taste great too. Other favourites of mine would be the yam ring pork ribs, signature prawns and stir fried French beans. The signature chicken 乞丐鸡 is more like herbal chicken. Not what we expect but taste quite good for me and the herbal soup is nice too. Can order their homemade soy as well (without sugar) which is very healthy.
