Go in a group of about 20 and being a private estate, you will have the whole complex to yourselves. Cozy and intimate, for work or for play, Aman Rimba is a fantastic place. Mini swimming pool, a small lake for a spot of fishing, and a stream up front for wading. Also a small basketball court, trampoline and games rooms makes it a complete experience. More plusses, the crew are super warm and friendly. Coupled with great food all round, will definitely go again.

Great experience here in Aman Rimba. We rented the entire estate for our team of 30+ people. All the facilities are well equipped, clean and comfortable. Food was wonderful and we love the kampung style cooking. Beautiful place.

What a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of KL. The rooms were nice and the food prepared were always good. Its great and nice when the weather is so cooling. Really makes great restful respite for the weary work warrior

Very nice place to visit and enjoy this environment. It feels relaxed and the best thing to do in AmanRimba private estate is to do nothing at all. Just enjoy the food and play some indoor games with your colleagues or friends. It really a place to be with family members as well......

Very nice environment. My friend booked this place for her wedding. There's a yard for 300 pax but some congregation sits and some stands. There's a resort to stay, sisters do the make up in day time and the new wed and both of their parents can overnight at this place too. We took a lot of nice videos but not pictures as pictures can't speak thousand words now in this instance. It's a jewel in kampung area.

OVERALL: the ambience was nice, but the overall maintenance of the property was lackluster - with leaking roofs, unusable plug points in rooms and algae filled pool. Our expectations was to have a chill and relaxing weekend getaway with our families and kids( incl Babies). I would say the property is more suited for team building rather than families with kids. We still had a nice fun time, but there were some key things that AmanRimba dropped the ball on specifically the food and asset maintenance - hence the rating. Noted that many of the current ratings have been awhile ago, hence no one pointed this out; but if u are considering this place, might just want to check if these issues have been sorted. ESTATE / ROOMS: We went in a family of four but booked out the whole estate (which consists of 6 Villas); Point to note, not all Villas are of same size and built out - for eg Kantan 1 and Kantan 2 has generous ceiling heights huge rooms with living room and balconies, whereas the serai, kunyit and Halia were just bedroom villas; and Sireh is a huge villa with living room but only has a queen bed. Also access to Kantan 2 is poorly done with a lot of mosquitoes, so Kantan 1 was used to get to Kantan 2 via shared living room space (not there’s no door on the bedrooms for Kantan). Was lucky to be with a close knit group of friends who weren’t too fussed about equitable economics or access sharing. Another issue was that one of the families had to move from Kunyit to Halia as the power points and lights were not working well in the first day, and on second night had to move to Serai (much smaller room) as Halia had a leaky roof just over the kids beds.. this is just pure bad maintenance. Notwithstanding, the service team was nice and kind to help with the room changes - but this shld not happen. If we had gone with 6 families instead of 4, it wld have been horrid. In addition, the pool was also algae filled and hence unusable during the full tenure of the stay - also a sign of bad maintenance. Note - the rooms do not have fridges and kettles (kettles were only provided upon request - as we had young kids with us). GAMES ROOM: we had quite abit of fun times in the games room with a pool table and football table.. but it was also quite dusty.... CATERED FOOD: horribly overpriced for the quality (and quantity provided). Didn’t take much pictures cuz it was just a total disappointment. Very different from Isaac Tan’s review. BREAKFAST is complimentary with a choice of nasi Lemak or mee siam. No fried chicken (like Isaac Tan’s review), just fried eggs for the exact number of pax. Whilst white bread was provided, butter was not available and the jam provided was just coloring + sugar. Props for effort to cook sausage and fish nuggets for the kids.. but again, of dubious quality. Fruit platter(unappealing) was served for which was re-served during lunch... LUNCH (rm40/pax) Chose malay food - quality was underwhelming, and quantity was left for want (particular the Chicken - 8 pieces for 8 pax); also random boney chicken parts were used - I think for rm40/ pax drum stick / chicken wings can be expected. DINNER (Rm60/pax) BBQ - whilst we did feedback to the service team about food portions, and they did try to increase portions for dinner. The lamb ran out after one round (and not everyone eats lamb) the chicken provided was dry as chicken breast / random parts were used (generally, for bbq... people tend to use chicken wings or drum stick / thigh); we were provided a lot of pasta though (the service team tried to provide more food on the back of earlier feedback but... optically, it manifested in the form of bigger carb portions). HOUSE RULES: not made known on their website nor told before hand, found out these rules a week before the trip when we asked about availability of fridges. - no food or drinks anywhere on the property except dining hall; - no alchohol anywhere except the dining hall; - only canned alchohol allowed(upon arrival, were told wine bottles allowed)

I've been here twice for team building and the service is always top quality. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The estate is also amazing and clean despite being surrounded by so much trees and nature. Definitely the best environment to do a teambuilding or a family gathering.

We had our family days here years ago. A beautiful homestay of resort standard. They served homemade food which was delicious. I understand this place can only accomodate 25 guests
