★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered 1 person sized meal for Ikan Pari. Fish was freshed, and quite tender. The taste of the asam was quite authentic. The chef has added some of his secret ingredients, which made the taste even better than traditional asam. At the bottom of the soup, one can see heavy sedimentation of the spices used - an indication that the chef has invested heavily in spices, not chemical flavor. However, the drink was poor quality. The teh tarik I ordered was quite blunt and overbrewed in taste, and the sweetened milk used also not suitable for teh tarik. Hope the restaurant can improve on that. Also, the restaurant needs to provide some vege dish to accompany the asam, to keep the diet balanced. Hopefully an asam set meal (1 asam + 1 vege + 1 rice + 1 drink) at RM 10?
