★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My fav malay cuisine is asam pedas and this restaurant is really disappointing. I ordered asam pedas tenggiri because of the reviews. The spicy taste was too much until I cannot taste the original “asam pedas” I was hoping for. And when the asam pedas getting cold, the taste becoming blunt. I cannot taste the salt. I cannot taste the tamarind juice. Do improve.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sorry to say . 1st time go this place a few years ago .. that time.. the Asam Pedas was so good .. 2nd time .. quality of the Asam Pedas was drop . And i tried a few time already... i hope that it will improve .. And now the taste for me not improve at all ..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At first we were nervous because the latest reviews weren’t good, but we went anyway.
Waiting time: I guess it was quick because there were only 3 other tables they were serving. PKP hasn’t been friendly to business, but they’ve maintained.
Food: we order ikan pari asam pedas, whoch arrived first. Rm16+ per set, fish was fresh, two medium portions with okra and tomato in the broth, served in a claypot. Mild, not too sour or spicy, but still got me sweating buckets ?
Sotong bakar was another level. Rm60 for 530g, stuffed with egg and tofu, served sizzling on metal plate with sambal gravy. definitely worth it if you’re splurging.
Only downside is maybe the loud music.
I didn’t take the picture before meal, because I rarely leave reviews. But this had me thinking of coming again in the future.
