Not far from Exit toll Kulai & senai. located in the heart of Kulai Town, Kulai Arcade. The best spicy acid here. There are various types of fish, fish eggs & crabs. Spicy ?, delicious, hot in a clay pot. 1set ready with rice, salted egg, cucumber & syrup. Easy parking, roadside jer. Lots of tables. Fast service & customer friendly chef. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best asam pedas in the country and I've been to several of them. First tasted Ezool's asam pedas was way back in its early days (2013 or 2014). And I had been exiting the North-South Highway whenever I pass by Kulai schedule permitting.
Many years have passed and only the recent weekend I had the chance to drop by again. I'm glad that the taste had remained the same even after all these years. It is Johor type of asam pedas where it is a bit more hot (pedas) than masam sour (asam) yet maintaining a good balance of tase all around.
The shop is now even better looking. The choices on the menu has expanded. You can see, feel and taste the huge passion Ezool poured into his little restaurant.
Would I come again? A definite yes.
