★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1. The house is spacious with 3 bedrooms n 2 bathrooms. Suitable for 5 people to sleep comfortably. We had 8 people staying together and it was okay with additional bedding. The beds and chairs are very comfortable.
2. Adequate plates and cups provided; however, the cooking utensils and cutlery provided are minimal. If you're planning on having a BBQ, a refundable deposit of RM50 is required. Bring your own pots and pans and cutlery if you plan on cooking your own meals here.
3. Entertainment consists of Astro NJOI only. No Wi-Fi. Fortunately, Maxis and Celcom have pretty good reception here.
4. It's advisable to bring mosquito and cockroach sprays. The house isn't infested, but you will see 2-3 running around. Do throw kitchen waste outside every day so as to not attract more pests.
5. One of the neighbours tend to rev their motorcycle loudly at odd times of the day (even at night). Do not park opposite the house as the neighbour there will give you the evil eye but not say anything.
6. The owner is responsive on WhatsApp and calls. He replaced the faulty iron immediately when we notified him, and came to show us how to turn on Astro since the TV screen is a bit warped, so we weren't sure what to do.
7. The stores are a short 5-minute walk away, so you can get necessities easily. The prices are on par with or slightly higher than what you will find in Selangor's suburban areas. It's probably due to transportation costs as it is a rural area.
If you're not a fussy traveler, then we recommend staying here.
