★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I am around Batu Kawan during lunch hour, will come to this place for a plate of rice with curry fish and some veggie. So far I like all the curry ? fishes, namely stringray, shark, black pomfret and threadfins. Occasionally when I arrived after 1:30pm and all the curry fishes emptied, will pick pork dishes. I'm still fine with pork dishes and rice with curry gravy. When you are around, just pop in and try the curry.

Their Vege Hokkian Mee and Loh Mee nice and tasty. I love the crunchy topping as perfect touch of Loh Mee❤️??.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Maybe they want to avoid the traffic jam but the folks at Simpang Ampat are on the road real early but thanks to Atap Kopi Tiam, we can have a good breakfast as early as 7am. The food is really good, mixed rice is already available at this early hour and the the price is very very affordable. I’m particular I love the lobak it’s better than those found on Penang island. The coffee is fragrant although a little light. Pork lovers rejoice, there are a few variety of pork dishes here and they are all delicious from the braised pork to fried and the lobak. The only complaint is that it’s a bit hot in the afternoon. Fried koay teow is just average. Early birds will love this place. It’s family run and everyone’s bright and ready in the morning
