★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great selection of food and a nice vibe on a Friday evening. Just be warned that there aren't many places to sit and eat, most people do take away (and use far too many plastic bags!!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Once-a-week market that we stumbled across by accident, and glad we did.
The food was fun, all street food: chicken with rice, burgers, noodles, juices, pickled fruits, fresh fruit, apomalek (a Malaysian pancake) and a host of local foods. The crowd was friendly and diverse. To walk through from one end of the market to the other would take about ten minutes, but took us over an hour when stopping to check out the various booths.
It's a tasty slice of local culture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Typical Malaysian pasar malam selling all sorts of things ranging from freshly cooked food, to fresh vegetables, fresh seafood and other essential items.
It's, vibrant, colourful, noisy with various aromas of meat being grilled creating a perfect mood to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds while doing some shopping.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the langkawi nightmarkets (friday). Great experience. A lot of local food and selection of original Malaysian food. Definitely recommended. There is also cheap clothes and toys for kids sold, which we were not interested in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Has a variety of stalls. However the walk way is quite narrow and there is limited parking space at the entrance. It can get quite smokey as some stalls BBQ the meat.
I saw some stall owners who were at the a Thursday night market here as well. So fret not if you missed the Thursday night market.
