★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Many might not agree with the five star ratings, given that this place offers nothing but satay.
But they never advertise themselves as anything else. And as far as their satay goes, that's exactly what they deserve.
Historically the household satay name in Kuala Terengganu, they went on a hiatus, only to reappear many years later, at the current location. Gladly, the originality remains the same.
Sate kajang afficionado might have problem with the skinnier skewer size, but this is how satay here in Terengganu is. I just find the skinnier satay to be more bite size, and the meat more evenly grilled. Love the taste, and the peanut sauce / kuah satay os done just right.
Another reason for the five stars - they actually serve the drinks kurang manis, as ordered. Have been having issues here woth the local gauge of sugary sweetness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For those who used to eat satay jam besar(clock tower) a satay restaurant in front of Pasar Payang, back in 70s - 80s will know this restaurant name. Azmi inherit of his family satay business now at this location, just opposite of the main gate of an army camp. I found the satay lil bit sweet and so on the kuah kacang gravy. It would be nice if the gravy lil bit hot, etc.
