β β β β β Indonesian Food in Alor setar, freshly served by Indonesian cook. Baβso special and Ayam penyet is a must try here. Was here during lunch hour, the crowd is just okay. The price is reasonable too.

β β β β β Original Indonesia.. From cashier dialect, sound like Indonesian. However there are also local Kedahan. Reasonable price. Variety of menu. basic restaurant without decorations. Free parking (at road side).

β β β β β The baso special bihun deserves 5 stars. I really love the meatballs. Very springy and flavourful. The special one contains a quail egg in there.
The soup is very flavourful, complementing the tasteless bihun very well. They also serve ayam penyet. The chicken is slightly dry. Otherwise the sambal is good. When I went there, there were only two options of food available.
Parking is not hard, most people just park outside the shop or opposite the shop.
I will come back for the baso special.

β β β β β Not the best ayam penyet I ever taste but definitely worth it. I order nasi ayam penyet with extra Tempe and gosh there's a lot of Tempe and it's definitely worth it.
I also order bakso special and I didn't know that the special means telur burung puyuh inside of the meatball. I didn't eat them thou hehehe. But give it a try! Not the best in Kedah but definitely worth it to give it a try.
