★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This joint is so quaint and unassuming, so the good food easily surpassed our low expectations. Excellent mushroom soup. Very good chicken chop (although mashed potato was mediocre). Pasta nicely al dente. All foods seem to be only lightly salted - a wonderful welcome. Extremely reasonable price, especially the RM1.50 bottomless drinks (teh-o, teh tarik, oren asam boi). Drinks are self serve, using their collection of cups which appears to be largely free gifts from a variety of vendors, plus some oddly cute ones. Be prepared to sweat on a hot day, as the shelter is literally a hot tin roof. Reasonable selection of breads, after all, this is a bakery!
