★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rates for the rooms are cheap, only at RM80-90+ a night. Rather than you staying in a house, as we so associate with homestays, it is more like we are staying in a hotel-slash-dormitory. The room is spacious, with a small closet, TV, two queen sized beds, ceiling fan and air conditioner. For muslims, there are kiblat signs and sajda/sujda (I am not sure of the spelling as it is spelled sejadah in Malay so sorry for that) mats provided, and they also provide towels too. The bathroom are without bath tubs, but it has a shower. It is really clean and well taken care of. There are also a pantry with a small fridge, a gas stove and a sink. There are also an ironing board on floor two. If you want a good place to sleep but cheap, this homestay is a good choice. There are also Banggol Homestay 1 and 2, which I think is more suitable for large family gatherings. I think this homestay is more suited for a family of 3 and 4, maybe friends of maximum 4 people and couples. If you have a large crowd staying in for the night, I'd advice you contact the owners for a better sized accommodation. There is a restaurant nearby that serves local dishes at a cheap price and great taste+quantity. There is also a mosque nearby. It is a bit far from the main road, but if you exit from one of the roads you will find yourself at a beach overlooking the South China Sea.
