โ โ โ โ โ My 2nd time with BBQ Plaza. How's the food so bad already? Our first experience with BBQ Plaza at Setia Alam mall was fantastic. It's been years since then and we went to this restaurant. I don't think I would have return to any BBQ Plaza restaurant anymore. Nothing special and not cheap either.

โ โ โ โ โ Had a great experience in Sunway Pyramid and Setapak Central branch previously so I decided to try the branch that's near to my house.
I have always wondered why is the Google rating of this outlet is uniquely low since BBQ Plaza always gives me great experience till today. Finally, I have got the answer today.
The waitress of this outlet always shows a black face and she does not even smile when talking to customers. I think she should be transferred to other outlets to enhance her soft skills for hospitality. Next, the food quality is somewhat different from the other 2 outlets. Eg: Fried rice in Setapak Central is super good whereas fried rice here is oddly terrible.
With this, I have no choice but to give 2 stars and I hope management will do something to make this outlet a better place since it is a tough period for F&B now.

โ โ โ โ โ The waiter has a good attitude, and there are discounts on birthdays. I also worry that customers will send email notifications if they forget their birthdays. This behavior is quite cordial.

โ โ โ โ โ Visited this place at dinnertime 5th Apr 2022. 4 of us in our group, took the highest priced buffet package. Each time we ordered items, at least 20-30% of the order didn't arrive. Buffets have a time limit, which they didn't inform us about, but charged us for. I had to get up from my seat to get service each time. Only two young girls waiting on customers in a packed restaurant. When I wanted to speak to the manager, he wasn't around. Perfect example of how not to run a service business. Paid about RM270 to leave with a horrible memory of the place. Food was actually OK. Could've been worth our while if service was at least bearable. Food 65/100. Service 3/100. Anyone wanting to run a food business should visit this place at least once just to learn every single thing you shouldn't do in your own business.
