★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The commercial area here, predominantly serves the Indian Muslim community. The bazaar was quite long, about 400 metres and things such as toys, clothing, souvenirs, shoes, bags, costume jewellery, accessories and food were available for sale. It stretched from Jalan Bunus 6 in the north to Jalan Tun Perak in the south. Many stalls were selling almost the same products. At the southern part, parallel to this bazaar, along Jalan Masjid India was another bazaar but this one one was covered with a high roof and about 200 metres long. The stalls were also selling the similar items. At entrance of this Jalan Masjid Bazaar lies the mosque, Masjid Jamek founded by Indian Muslims and which began as a wooden structure in 1983.
