★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 50 years old local Chinese restaurant, food is OK but choices are limited,and not so easily found (they don't put up big new signage). Friendly staffs n boss though. Curry prawn is a must to order.. This meal cost us RM80++...for 4 pax

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for lunch. Completely hidden down back street. Not a lot of English, and no menu. We went with the recommendations: prawn curry and fried fish black sauce. Plus rice and two drinks (iced coffee). Food service fast. Dishes were brilliant! As another reviewer says ‘god like’. Strong flavour in the black sauce and a few bones in the fish, but really tasty and not over cooked. Prawns - 4 big fat (unpeeled) prawns in a superb, rich and fragrant sauce. Make sure you get wipes (or take your own)!
Looks like it’s been there for 50 years. I think it has! Really great find. And close to the Art Walk if you want to explore that (which we did - see review there).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Old timer coffee shop. The regulars will know what signature dishes to order as they do not have a menu and choices are limited. Crowded at times, worth the long wait for good food. The Hainanese coffee here is a must try. Prices slightly above average.
