A	A Kh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I did OW course with Yusuf who is a super-friendly instructor and gave a very personalized training throughout. The pool sessions were nice as they prepared us for the OW dives next day. Yusuf ensured that we got enough skill practice with all the equipment in the pool so we aren't as nervous when we hit the seas first time. We dove around different reefs/mini-islands around Pulau Payar, which is a marine park about an hour ferry ride from Langkawi. I met the other instructor Ben too as he helped us with some logistics. Overall I would highly recommend Big Brother as their instructors are very friendly, knowledgeable and take good care of you. Everything is transparent and you get full worth of your time and money spent here.

He is also very passionate about diving and marine life and is very knowledgeable about the area and the best places to dive!! Will definitely be back again :)

Everything is well organized and there is plenty of equipment on-board to choose from which all seem to be in good condition. My instructor Ben was clear in his briefings and friendly. Quite a lot of life underwater and nice to see the shipwreck & sunken gas tank. Only downside was the limited visibility.

His regard for marine habitats and environmental sensitivity was world class. Ben and his pleasant team took care of everything (transport, meals, gear, park fees). They made me feel comfortable and like family. We spotted many large and small species on our dives at Pulau Payar Marine Park. Even got to see a whale while on the ferry. A highlight of my vacation in Malaysia. Definitely will be back.

He asked me to study the book by myself and provided some tips and comments before went into water. As language gap, I misunderstood him for deep dive about one task. He explained to me patiently after we come up. I got dizzy as big waves, and throw up. He took good care of me. For the scenery underwater, I was so impressive about the 3rd one, tons of fish around us, stared us, played with us. In some area, Ben held my hand, which made me feel quite romantic and feel free to interact with fish and coral. Actually we had dinner together, driven trip together, beach walking together, barbecue with his friends together, most importantly we talked a lot, from politics to economics, from traditions to history, from personal experience and altitude to life. I enjoyed the time with Ben, my big brother! Hope everything goes well with him. Hope to see Ben maybe somewhere sometime, diving together again.
R	Rd on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time ever diving and decided to go all-in with an open water course. Read all the reviews prior to and the name that kept coming up was Ben. I can reassure you why with my review as well. Ben is indeed the man. He is a great conscious instructor/diver and takes his time to teach the skills thoroughly. I say conscious because he is down to earth and money isn't his motive. So with Ben you will infact earn this certificate and feel good about yourself achieving it rather than just pay for it and pass. From making sure your equipment is sound even with the minute details of smell of the air in the tank to facing the SPG away while opening the tank. He taught the skills with care and clarity so you can learn and assimilate it with ease. The moto he goes by is "its someone's life that is on the line and I have to teach properly" Hats off to you bro. During my 2nd dive I had problems adapting to the waters and started panicking to a point I wanted to quit the whole course. Ben however sat me down and explained to me this is fully safe and motivated me to try it once again and if I still had troubles, we can call it off. Thanks to Ben and his motivation and patience, I am now a truly certified open water diver. Next up is Advanced open water with Ben hopefully. Thanks alot for your service Ben. Take care and keep teaching consciously.

He makes sure everybody stays hydrated and gets enough food so your trip wont get ruined by poor nutrition or hydration. If you want to dive at langkawi you should not consider anything else! Dived two days and four dives. They make diving trips to Payar island marine park using other companys facilities. With Big Brother you get really personal service and feel like being part of the group and not just a customer. Payar is nice place to dive but visibility was quite bad on the first day. Of course it was offseason so it was expected. Second day the visibility was much better and the overall feeling about the dives was totally positive! Payar is also good place to chill and dine in between the dives.
