★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nasi lemak aficionado would be disappointed. The rice not lemak and lacks coconut taste. However the curry chicken is palateble and so is the sambal which has a predominant serai flavour. And its spicy which is a plus. The price is reasonable. And I like the fish ball in the curry potatoes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's actually a stall selling nasi lemak in Restaurant Keng Nam Hai (beside AEON Kepong, just walk across the road) The nasi lemak is ok... the curry, sambal are all evidently catered to Chinese taste buds. Not your usual Nasi lemak style from a Malay sellers. Definitely not halal, as they served pork. The queue is long...I lined up for 45mins just to buy 2 plates of nasi lemak. I will go back again, provided there is no queue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another reason for me to drive all the way to Kepong even though I live in PJ will be the famous "Black Man Nasi Lemak" - when i first tasted it, he was still operating at Keng Nam Hai but has since moved to Vista Magna (a quick Googling will definitely help).
He looks very serious when working but he can be quite chatty if you strikes conversation with him. What he's offering is Chinese style nasi lemak and he's very good at it... there are many types of side dishes that you can choose to go with your plate of santan-infused rice, sambal, peanut, ikan bilis and egg. For example, my plate consisted of extra pork chop (yay!!), Curry chicken and sambal kerang (cockles)... It won't come cheap as my plate cost up north of RM10 but I wasn't complaining because of the sheer size and volume of food.
I am planning a revisit to taste his nasi lemak again soon. Nothing spells nasi lemak indulgence like this one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rice is nice and not so lemak which is good, the pork chop is superb with "Chai po heh bi" or "Choi po Hai Mai", the new Petai dish is a must try. If you can't take spicy, you can try curry chicken and potatoes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Nasi Lemak comes with BBQ Pork Steak. Chef said he use old method and long hour to produce the BBQ Pork Steak, no wonder it taste nice and meat didn't feel dry and hard. The Lala was nice, really love it. The Sambal was taste very special, if just eat with rich also good enough. Next time come to Kepong will dine in again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The plated “Sambal Lala Nasi Lemak” from the famous Black Man Nasi Lemak in Kampung Kia Kopitiam (Metro Prima Kepong) is of outstanding! A must eat.
Lots of other varieties of meat toppings too. Definitely one of the best Chinese nasi lemak in town.
Note: He is open from morning till just after lunch (8.30am - 1.30pm). The time listing a 2.30pm opening is incorrect.
