There's a common fridge for the guests. Some utensils are stored in a non-functional fridge. Really basic toilets and shower huts. There's a river but it's too muddy and probably contaminated with pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizer runoff from the durian farms upstream. Mosquitoes, and lots and lots. Luckily, they disappear after sunset when it's cooler.

Had a great stay here. Lovely owner and family. Good facilities and a perfect getaway if you want to hear the birds and the creek. Close to Frasers Hill. The pods are very cosy and comfortable with power and fans. Suggest bringing an esky with food and drinks and have a bbq for dinner.

Wonderful experience staying in cube cabin. Caretaker was friendly, helpful, making our glamping experience a pleasant one. Room is moderately clean. The site was surrounded by mosquitoes in the evening and abang Mir managed to smoke them away. However they miraculously disappeared at night. We had no other travellers on that Saturday night therefore the night was serene, full with our own laughter. The site is free from light pollution. Blessed with great weather, we were able to see a whole sky of stars glittering. Definitely a breathtaking view for city Boys and Girls. Our extra surprise came when we were able to spot meteors! Next day we were able to buy D24 durian from them. The durian was fresh and it just fell from tree couple of minutes ago Can tell its organic as we spotted a small tiny worm at the durian shell. Great one. Abang Mir was kind to entertain our request and introduced to us various plants around the glamping site. Had a fun time chatting with him! Overall speaking, place is full with mosquitoes in evening. Pls bring along your mosquitoes repellents. Bring extra sweater as it would get colder at night.

This rating is based on first impression on site inspection :-) friendly caretaker like most post mentioned. However drive safe when turning into the entrance due to a blind spot. Not recommended for convoy of two vehicles and above as the gate to the main road can only fit one car. Parking is scarce. Would not considered a Glamping spot but a down to earth, back to nature like the early days settlement where make shift huts (aka pods in modern day language), tree houses are the like were build. It would be a fantastic experience for the city folks especially the millennial kids for some realization and reflection. Save the best for last, fruit trees are abundant everywhere, be prepared for the next season of Durian for the King of Fruits lover (there are loads of it).

It was a blessing to have found boutel orchard that fits in my checklist of kampung nature, camping site within a stone throw to river bank and most importantly pet friendly vacation. My poochie Frank first outdoor learning experience . The route that the host has given was an easy find . Upon arriving Poochie Frank was greeted by orchard friendly farm dogs curiously checking on Frank while the helpfull caretaker carry my backpack *smiles* Thats the advantage of travelling solo with my best buddy tagging along unleash. I love the minimalist concept subtleness of the natural architectual gives each cribs its passionate raw characteristic. The cosy cabin has a fridge, a queen bed and attached bathroom, switch plugs to charge my phone and mini speaker and toilet papers of course hehe !! On my 2nd day I seize the moment to use the outdoor bamboo shower. Its an rare experience, just try not to drop the soap Lmao! XD. Oh , for those that choose to tent or the cute lil honeypods, you can keep uncooked meats, vegs, drinks in the Fridge provided at the shed area for BBQ. I almost forgotten I had insect repellent , could be the garlic and korean spicy sauce I use for my BBQ on day 1 ? . Great thanks to Lainux the owner for helping me set up the fire .? The night in the cabin was peacefull and im into the nature present moment with my happy poochie as we snuggle to dreamland waking up to cool foggy mountain view and streaming river sounds and glad for once I dont need an alarm clock ?. Breakfast was just a real short distance drive to the kampung , I had deliciious wan tan mee and went back again 2nd day , yummy. To pet lovers , I do recommend Boutel orchard. Frank has hus first roaming away from our regular visit only at residental park. . This outdoor vacation has really given my dog an experince to mingle with farm dogs , seeinga bee for first that likes buzzing around the cabin curtain bee taunting instint :) haha cute. Having his first river swim, surprisingly he knows how to front leg paddle while im guiding him as a wolf mummy afraid her cub will get wash away by the river current even tho the current wasnt strong :3 Was told by the caretaker at times the water is clear and could see down the sand pebbles. And also across the other of river bank there is a small trial to hike up lushfull hills a great adventure going with a team. Lastly, the treehouse is shoutout most of us dream to own one . its memerizing sight tells a story of a tree hugger that built it with passion and peter pan wish that came true. Much love to Boutel orchard , From me? and Frank? ?

With all the banglows/stays booked on Fraser hill , we have landed on this option as the nearest place available for the long weekend around the hill. We have stayed in the honeycomb structure , fyi- there are 2 other type of stays available in the same farm. This review is for our stay in honey comb structure. As the name suggests , this stay is inside a farm and surrounded by hills and many other farms . It takes around 1 hour on never ending curved and winding routes to reach Fraser hill from this place. The shape of the room is as much as the size of a king size bed with 1-2 ft extra space to stand. It has a tube light , exhaust fan and a plug point. We have not observed any lizards in the room, so we could sleep peacefully. The bath rooms are outside and common for all the 3 honeycomb rooms. They are very different and basic, serves the purpose. During night we found it hard to use the bathroom because of many lizards crawling, otherwise ie In the mornings there is no problem to use bathrooms . This is expected because of the location we have chosen , it’s a outdoor camping kind of an environment. Caretaker lits the smoke , to avoid mosquitoes during mornings and evenings.BBQ facility is well used by others. Except for travelling up and down to Fraser hill, we had no issue staying here.

Nice place for camping at the bank of a stream of river. Lots of birds around. Good view. It has a kitchen, provides a fridge. Self cooking.
